Coco life agent modus -operandi.. please read, don't get scammed..

I was at MOA at around 7 pm when a lady approached me and ask me if I already have a credit card , I thought she is going to offer me one, and I said yes. Then she followed up , and asked if it is a Master card or Visa, said both. Then gave me a coupon ,that I have a life insurance from coco life amounting to 20k. I was really not interested but trying to be polite, and asked me to fill up the form. She told me if I could spare some 30 minutes,said that she is not selling anything or try to offer me something.just for me to know what is COCO life. And she even said that I will be qualified for raffle for a free trip to Hongkong. I'm really not interested but the agent said that she really needed points for referral. I asked if there is nothing to offer me or ask me to buy something. She said yes, just a promo for the company. As hesitant as  I 'am, agreed to go to their office. It's just at the side from our office where I work so I said it's ok. On our way she asked me if I have an ATM ,  she said that it's one of the requirements to be able to qualify for the free insurance. Along the way she asked me to make a balance inquiry from my ATM. And asked me to keep the balance receipt.I was led to a small, actually something like of a make- shift office. Then a lady approached me and asked me if I was briefed already by their agent. I said yes. She asked for my ATM balance inquiry receipt and looked at it and hand  it back to me. Said that they don't really care if you have a huge amount in your saving or just a small amount.


Then I was led to a back room where there are several tables with different agents talking with different prospect clients. So she asked me to fill up a form, and said to fill up something like of an essay , my plans in the next 15 years. after filling up the form ,she presented me about COCO  life and showed me a figure of it's rank in the industry. Showed that it's at top 2, Then asked me if I would be interested in savings. Asked me the amount that I have in my savings account. Then she presented me the scheme for a ten year saving scheme. Then after the ten year I would be getting a hundred thousand a year as long that I am still living.
To make the story short, I said I am interested but still have to think about it, and give the brochure, she said there are no brochures. She said that It's up to my bank for approval. Said my bank? now here is the twist? its somewhat of a trust fund in my bank? I really did not understand what it is? so I said how will I know if I am going to be approved, she said it is online.She even said that other clients even with huge amount in their card gets declined.  I thought that it is an online application, I was really curious of what is my credit score. So I agreed. Then they led me to a terminal where they are going to swipe my card and  to enter my pin. I asked if my card is going to be debited and she said yes? Huh, approval from a bank by  just swiping my debit card? what a scam. It's not being approved but trying to CON you to swipe your card and  debiting the sign up fee of Php 4,500.00

I did not agree to swipe my card and led me back to where we are doing the presentation. So she said that It's one way of knowing if the bank will approve me? I said by getting debited? she said that It will be my first quarterly payment. So another agent sat with us convincing me to swipe. And said that it's a one time offer. And that if I will come back some other time I would need a huge bank account to be approved. I really felt the PRESSURE for me to sign up and swipe my card. I got irritated and simply leave. They were asking me to stay to offer me other options. COCO life is a reputable company . But the way they get clients involves deception.

    I was pressured to swipe my card and stupidly, I gave in.
    They said it's a one-day promo but I've seen posts like this since 2011 as I've researched on the net. They can actually get clients without using this method. I want to undo yesterday. T_T

      Sabi kasi ng credit card company, cocolife ang dapat na makipagusap sa kanila par icancel na ang transaction
      Hindi daw yun basta basta pwede gawin sabi ng agent ng cocolife at mahaba daw ang process, may conference, may investigation, may approval pa at pwede pa na di ma approve ang cancelation ko
      Kapag inantay ko magpost ang amount at mgfile ako ng dispute, may chance ba ako makuha yun ulit?

      At agent daw mgbbayad ng amt na ipapacancel ko, wala daw ba akong awa? Another strategy nanaman ito???

Hi, we also victim of flowering of words from cocolife agent in SM Calamba Laguna, we've been contacting them and sent several advice for the cancellation of the policy less than a month after the policy has been issued but unfortunately we're so helpless and they didn't cancel the insurance policy for the amount of Php40K...We already address this issue since last year June 2013 to Mr. Felix from the head office but still no action has been taken. It's really frustrating in my side coz i'm working abroad. Is there any way to cancel the policy and get refund my money?

    10. You should call cocolife's head office in makati. MAKE SURE your cancellation letter and copy of the policy are received by the head office for it to be properly addressed. follow it up every other day.

    12. I had an experience just recently, they did not offered accident insurance but a 50% tuition fee under ACLC. I don't have any credit card, so used my debit card to pay the quarterly fee.. i got the 102k face amount and have the 1790 to be paid monthly for 10years. I've contacted the cocolife main office asking if their branch in sm malls are for real and not a scam by using ONLY THEIR NAME, and the girl that i've talked said "yes they are all legal".. I asked her how to cancel the auto debit charge in my debit card when paying the monthly dues, she told me to write a letter of cancellation addressed to Cocolife.. I even ask her if their premiums will increase on the latter years and she said "no", whatever details or amounts stated in the policy, that will be effective until 10years.. I guess if you have concerns, you should call the main office. Like what i did..

    Sino ba ang dapat ko kausapin sa Cocolife?

    Wala pako policy eh, at yung cancellation letter nasa agent (idadala daw nila sa cocolife) at ako naman nag email ako ng scanned copy kaso sa email lang ng customer service representative, yun lang binigay na email sakin e, sabi ko wala bang mas generic email, dun nalang daw sa email nya

    Iisa lang ba customer service nila, tuwing tatawag ako sya at sya lang din ang sumasagot, nagdududa na tuloy ako

    May conference daw eh, yan ang text ng agent sakin, kailan daw daw available

    Weh di nga? May ganun ba? Wala naman yata eh, di ba dapat cancel nalang basta? Right ko naman yun eh

This happened to me too at SM city Iloilo yesterday March 17,2013, This girl told me to fill up a free raffle to hongkong disneyland and get a free health insurance for a year..I was really not interested but just went with it to be polite, now after that she told me I had to "activate" my account which requires you to listen to an hour demo which I know is the same for all..This girl kept on talking and talking about cocolife info which I think was all BS and it was boring as hell, to get to point she asked me to pay 10k something that would be good for 6 months and I said no, she kept on asking me to go with the lower amount and I said no, and why the heck would it only be a 1 day promo..she kept pressuring me and I dont want to get mad coz I was just visiting so I just told her I dont want to and I left.

    1. i would suggest punta ka dti ilo ilo pera mo yan humingi ka din ng tulong sa leasing kasi obligado dapt sila alam nila kalakaran na nagyayari sa tenant nila at kung nasa sayo na ang policy wag mo ibigay ang original copy mo dahil yan ang magsisilbing ebedinsya mo at keep mo din yung stab ng raffle ticket nila...

Same thing happen to last August 2012, their's a girl came to me while im in sm calamba mall just to buy something, nag offer din sila ng my promo daw sila at wala daw ako babayaran, tapos sumama ako sa office nila, them 1 of their agent came to me and she started to indorse and offer the producr, cocolife future savings gold, nung una ayaw ko talaga pumayag na mg signed ng contract at bayaran yun inoofer nilang life insurance pero parang ayaw nila akong paalisin sa office nila, naireta ako at bigla ko nalang binayaran kasi naiinip na ako sa loob.
    P11,300 yun binayaran ko, kaso now gusto ko na ipa terminate yun contract na yun, sa totoo lang dapat malaman ito ng insurance commision itong ginagawa nila sa mga customer nila just to sell their product (life insurance)

    2. read m other blog my procedure silang ibibigay..dont wait for the policy kc ung policy ang nakalagay dw dun 15days upon signing ng insurance k lng puede mgcancel..go to the office n pinag sign m at hnpin m ung agent n ngbigay sau..mgbibigay p un ng mrming option sau pero wag kng mgppdala s mga bbgay nila iinsist m n icancel m..ixerox lht ng docs. at dpt dala m ung cancelation letter m..ipareceive s knila...tpos nun cla dn mgssbi n after 30-45 days ang processing..

    3. this is true...and i just did it a while ago..i gave cash yesterday but then they said that they already forwarded it to the main branch so Ihave to wait for it in check form...to think I haven't submitted any ID's and my TIN number but they gave me the OR ...tapos 30-45 days? Come on...

    aprl 10 pumunta aq s brnch para ipa cancel pero sb nung agent nd manger hnd n dw pwd i cancel kya 2mawag aq sa insurnce comision,sbi pumunta daw ako sa main ofice at dun ipa cancel kc pahirapan magpa cancel sa branch
    April 16 pumunta q main ofce ng co2lyf sa makati para ipa cancel sb follow up daw aq aftr 3days kc ka2uspin p dw ung agent (b4 kau pumunta make sure na nka gawa n kau cancelation letter nd may copy kau ng papers na binigay ng co2lyf includng recpt, i re2cv ni sr.felix cancelation mo.)
    .aftr 3 days nag follow up aq sbi on process n dw cancelation wait daw aq 21days para ma cancel.
    May6,2013 tumawag aq sa co2lyf sbi cancel n daw yung transction, sa May 9 daw chargebck .

    nbsa q sa net w/n 15 days lng pwd magpa cancel from. d date n nag avail ka ng plan nila

Last april 1, 2013...pero pna-cancel q rn agd nung april 4 or 5 pnagawa pko ng letter of cancellation. ang malinaw na usapan nmin is by installment ang 2k na na-swiped nla sa credit card ko kc di un pwede psukan ng buong 2k dhil mao-over limit aq. ngaung May dumating ang bill ko pumasok na pla nung april pa ung 2k kya na over limit aq with penalty na. kya nagpunta aq msmo sa admin ng sta.lu at nreklamo ko ang pang-haharass ng mga cocolife agents na yan para lng mkakuha ng clients. naghrap kmi ng manager at mga staff nto at sa hrapan ng tga-sta.lucia cnabi q tlga lahat ng mga nkta ko at na-experienced q sa knla. hndi umubra palusot nla. ang ending 22lungan nlng nla aq maibalik ang 2k ko pro 45 days dw aabutin. let's see. pg di natupad un isusumbong q na cla sa Tulfo brothers.

Last May 11, 2013, I was walking in SM Cebu upper ground floor when someone approached me which I learned was Mr. Gerry Guiana and told me that he would just ask some questions and I might have a chance to get free gift from them. I agreed then he asked me if I have ATM then how much I had on it. I told him roughly how much I have. Right then and then, he said that I am able to join their promo of win trip to Hongkong for 4 and told me that I have to get the policy at the 3rd floor and he would assist me in going there.

    When we are in the Cocolife office, the manager also asked about my ATM and she could checked there the total amount I have in my ATM. Since I have 2 ATMs but was not able to checked in the machine how much I have also told me to if I could checked the balance downstairs and Mr. Guiana also assisted me. Then when they have checked how much money I have on my ATM, an agent named Emily Pacatang interviewed me and talked to me and asked about my future plans and goals and write it down the paper that she has given to me. After that she explained that in order to achieve the goals I should have enough savings but since she knows how much I have said that it is not suitable so she offered me 'Endowment' which has good benefits. Like, I just have to pay for 10 years then after that I would be receiving 100K per year for 5 years then after that 500K for a total of 1M which really got my attention. After that she told me that I have to be enrolled in the FS Platinum which is the name of 'Endowment' and showed that Cocolife is #2 in the 2012 Insurance company and showed me the people who are under the plan. I explained to them that I could not afford the P12,543.63 for the plan so she lowered it to P6,543.63 together with her manager. They both pressured me to sign but she said that they are not pressuring me, yes they are not pressuring me harshly, but I insisted that my husband will get angry if I signed the contract they are pressuring me that he is not yet my husband and it is my money and do not let it just sleep in the bank.

    I did think about it then I just signed the contract. She also introduced me through the mic so that others would also joined then we went to the counter and swiped my ATM and was charged of P6,543.63. I also waited 15 minutes for my policy. When I got my policy, it showed that I would receive only P10,000 after I have paid P1,610 monthly and I could upgrade it after 3 months so that it could reached the 100K per year after 10 years of payment.

    I went home and told my partner and yes he did get angry and he asked some neighbors about it and told that we could get refund just go to the leasing department of SM Cebu. We did go there and went to the 2nd floor and talked to the managers together with SM administration. The managers told us that it should be talked in their office since it happened it there office then explained to us that it would take 30-45 days for the refund but my partner insisted that it should be today and when we know that it is only P4,543.63 because GPA is non refundable which I did not agree that is why we on the crusade to resolve this issue.

Hi po same din ng nangyari skn yesterday sa cocolife SM Manila..akala ko raffle entry lng and then ngulat nlng ako nung dinadala na ko papuntang office nila sa taas..Tpos may isang sales agent dun na babae na nkipag one on one talk skn pinapapayag ako mg invest sknila pero thru credit card..Panu po kaya un nkapag filled up ako ng form nila including my name address,contact details pero hndi ako nkpagbigay ng credit card details ko kase at the end hindi nila ko napapayag..Pero ung credit card ko tinigan lng sandali..May mababawasan ba un sa credit card ko kht ndi na swipe?

    2. makukuha na namin yung refund kasi nagkahara kami ng dti,cocolife manager,at manager din ng sm...sugest ko lng punta kayo ng dti keep lahat ng ebedinsya wag muna kayo makipagusap sa agent nyo makinig kayo kung ano ipapayo sa inyo ng dti...2 weeks pingako sa amin may agrrement na kmi both parties...basta ipaglaban mo karapatan mo wag na pumunta ng insurance commision hindi rin sila nakakatulong

Remember public ito maaaring 1 saten dito ay mismong taga Cocolife rn, wg tayong basta basta nagbibigay ng impormasyon lalo na contact number tinitrace nila yan. Kung sakaling gusto mong Magpacancell ito gawin mo...
    A. Tumawag ka sa hotline nila,branch at head office para inform sila na ayaw mo na, Cancell na.
    B. Gumawa ka ng letter Cancellation Letter at pumunta sa branch para ipareceive un sa Manager pero tandaan mo wag kang magpapadala sa mga sasabihin nila marami pa silang sasabihin para wg mong ituloy. Dapat nag photocopy ka ng lahat ng documents na meron ka na galing sa kanila para in case kunin nila my back up ka, ipareceive mo sa kanila yung letter mo.
    C. Sasabihin nila kung gaano katagal yung processing kaya kulitin mo lagi para maiprocess nila agad.
    D. Ikuwento mo ito sa iba para mabawasan yung mga naloloko nila.

    kung hindi ito SCAM bakit ganyan yung pamamaraan nila para kumuha ng tao, halos lahat tayo sinabihang 1day offer lang, sa previous msg. 2011 pa pala ito. Lahat tayo pinipilit kahit ayaw natin na kumuha ng insurance nila kahit sa pinakamababang halaga. TAMA BA?

  25. ..actually planholder dn aq ng cocolyf..72k ung inavail ko which is 200peso a day,,member na ko since july 2011..but okey naman ung service nila, may mga affiliated banks cla na pde dun k mgtransact...cguro pgdating sa insurance eh hndi tau ganun ka open minded.. but for me its really of good help.   26. ..actually planholder dn aq ng cocolyf..72k ung inavail ko which is 200peso a day,,member na ko since july 2011..but okey naman ung service nila, may mga affiliated banks cla na pde dun k mgtransact...cguro pgdating sa insurance eh hndi tau ganun ka open minded.. but for me its really of good help. And you can also apply for a policy loan..just let cocolife na maipakita dn naman ung good service nila..kc may mga positive side dn naman..

Ang sabi sken hnd daw tlaga nla sinasabi un, sabi q ano?     6. Hi. Magtatanong lng po kasi ung sakin inavail ako nung nov 24 da ff day tumwag ako sa main office stating my concerns for cancellation. Ininform ko din agent ko tapos nung 29 ngpasa ako cancellation letter andun na nga policy ko pero dko knuha. Ipiniilit ko dahilan ko pra ma cancel tapos ng gwa ako letter pinirmahan ng mngr wait nlng daw ako 30-45days kasi i pasa pa sa main office un. Khapon nag email ako kay mr alipio ska kay kaye fabia sa main office stating my reasons to cancel the plan and attached the screen shots of all the docs and receipts that i have.     7. Inform nyo rin po bank mo. Gnwa ko kasi nag close ako nung acct ko na un tapos nag open ako pnibago sinabi ko sa bank bka gamitin for illegal transactions ung card # ko at acct. Di nmn daw ma debit uli as long as di nla alam pin# mo pero para mas safe ganun gnwa ko.

    Pinoforce nila ang customer para makapag avail ng plan sa ganun din araw,., hindi ka palabasin sa mga sm branch na yan hanggat hindi ka nakakapagbayad using atm or cc pwede din cash,., marami na din nabiktima check nyo sa jobrossario na blog sobrang dami ng complain about their marketting strategy nila.

    Bakit ba yan hinahayaan sa mga sm malls. Mga gago yan agent na yan mukang pera kaya na resign yun friend ko dahil hindi masikmura yan trabaho na yan, kaso dahil dyan..

  46. Bwisit yang cocolife n yan! Feeling ko naholdap ako kgabi sa SM Manila. Nabigla ako nung siniwipe ung card. Sabi ko na-caught-off guard ako at right at that very moment gusto ko na mag-back-off. Sabi nila there's no way out na daw, so committed nako for 10 years sa kanila. ANU BA YUN?! Wala pang 5 minutes! Pagkalabas ko, tumawag ako sa credit card company (Metrobank) ko. Sabi nila pwede daw icancel lahat ng uri ng transaction. Magprovide daw ako 2 letters of cancellation, isa sa Metrobank, isa sa Cocolife. Mamaya tanghali, iaabot ko na Cocolife at ifafax ko naman ung sa Metrobank. Haaaay!!! :(

I just thought weird nun approach at first tapos sa pinakaloob pa yun transaction...pag tinanong mo kung bakit 1day lang at may 100people lang daw sila na inaapprove for the slot-dinadivert ang usapan sa ibang topic...for me,kasi I dont usually look sa eyes ng kausap ko-they even made a comment about it.I guess not bringing your passbook and atms with large sum is one of the pros tsaka in my case I dont memorize sss or tin number which is needed to start the transaction. Keep me updated here. I'm starting to make my move. Worst come to worst-nice approach muna for now.

Plan holder po ako ng cocolife 56k po ang annual ko 3yrs nako nagbabayad and wala pa naman po ako nabalitaan n wala po naclaim sa cocolife actually I was working po sa toshiba cocolife din po kc ang insurance ng company namin as an hr po alam ko po pagnamamatayan kami ng empleyado at mabilis naman po clang nakakaclaim so I think ok naman po ung services nila.

Plan holder din po ako ng cocolife, i was trying to cancel my policy since ive got another insurance here abroad. i tried everything to communicate with them but they are not responding at all. isa pang dahilan is dito n ako nanirahan sa labas ng bansa so kailangan ko talagang icancel ang insurance ko kasi doble ang binabayaran ko. nakuha nila sakin ay 100k one time swipe lang un sa credit card ko. kaya nga sa mga nababasa ko dito sa blogs eh parang hopeless ko ng makuha un. pls. someone tell me kung ano po ang dapat gawin para makuha ko kahit kalahati nung naibigay ko. thanks.

  70. I just want to help those who wants to cancel their insurance policy and have their money refunded. Napa-cancel ko na din kasi yung policy ko and na-refund ko na din yung full amount ng pera na na-debit nila sa atm card ko. Here's what I did. Sana makatulong sa iba, tutal ang sabi sakin agent ng Cocolife noon i-chismis ko lang daw sila. :)

    1. Dapat within 15 days na magawa yung insurance policy nyo, makapagbigay kayo ng cancellation letter sa Head Office ng Cocolife demanding a full refund of your money. What I did was gumawa muna ako ng cancellation letter with my signature tapos pina-scan ko. Nagpa-scan na din ako ng 2 valid IDs ko just in case hingiin sakin.

    2. Tumawag ako sa Head Office ng Cocolife (Customer Service). Nakausap ko si Chat Varon. I informed her na gusto ko ipa-cancel yung insurance policy ko. Sabi sakin i-fax or e-mail ko sa kanya yung cancellation letter ko then mag-follow up na lang ako every week sa status. Tinanong ko kung kelangan ko pa ba bumalik sa branch ng Cocolife kung san ako kumuha ng policy. Sabi nya hindi ko naman na daw kelangan bumalik don sa branch, sila na daw sa Head Office and magpa-process ng request ko. Sabi ko sa kanya buti naman at hindi ko na kelangan bumalik don dahil ayoko makipagtalo sa mga tao dun at baka pilitin pa nila kong kumuha ng ibang insurance plan.
    Eto yung contact details ng Head Office ng Cocolife:

    3. After ko i-email sa kanya yung scanned copies ng cancellation letter at valid IDs ko, tumawag ulit ako sa kanya para i-confirm kung na-receive na nya.

    4. After that tumatawag na lang ako sa kanila once or twice a week para humingi ng update sa status ng request ko. In my case, nakuha ko yung insurance policy ko ng September 20, sinend ko sa kanila yung cancellation letter ko September 23, nakuha ko yung check refund ko ng Nov. 11. Isinoli ko na din sa kanila yung insurance policy nil after ko makuha yung refund ko. Natuwa naman ako sa customer service nila dahil hindi naman ako na-hassle sa pag-cancel ko ng insurance policy.

    Suggestion ko ganito na lang din ang gawin nung mga gustong magpa-cancel at manghingi ng refund. =)

    Cited below are the reasons for the cancellation:

    [ilista nyo po yung mga reasons nyo kung bakit gusto nyo i-cancel yung policy nyo, dito nyo po ilagay lahat ng reklamo nyo sa kanila. wag nyo po kopyahin word for word yung examples kasi baka magtaka naman sila bakit pare-pareho kayo ng cancellation letter.]

    Example:
    a) There was no transparency on their marketing strategy and on the way the financial advisors and/or insurance agents transact with their potential clients;
    b) I was deceived that they will get my bank’s approval first, but instead they swiped my debit card from a POS machine, which automatically deducted the amount they put there. I am not aware that POS machines are now considered to be "bank representatives" who will "approve" such transactions.
    c) They insisted that I can only avail of the plan on that day because that slot is reserved for me only for that day, which I found out later to be untrue.


    Though I believe Cocolife is a reputable company, the marketing strategy used to sell insurance policies involves deception, which is a shame to the company. The public must be warned about this.

    For the reasons stated, I do not have any confidence anymore to transact with any Cocolife insurance agent and decided to cancel my insurance policy.

    I hope you can put this request into effect as soon as possible. Thank you.

    1. Pwede mo ipa-cancel yung insurance mo tawag ka sa Customer Service ng Cocolife para masabi nila sayo kung ano gagawin mo. But since last year pa yan, hindi mo na po mababawi yung mga pera na na-charge nila sa credit card mo.

  79. Sna nga po ma refund natin lahat ng bnayad natin and slamat po sa inyong mga advice. Bukas ko po ipasa sa branch sm mla ung cancellation letter ko Gods will na marefund natin kgaya nung mga nkpag refund din. Kng gano sila kbilis mkakuha ng pera satin sana wla din tau maging hirap pag refund. It serves as a lesson for all of us. I'll post my update later kng may linaw na po.

  80. Nagpasabpo ako cancellation leyter today pero pinagsulat pa rin nla ako doon ng request ni recieve nila may sgnature din ako. Perobug gpa daw dko na ma refundbso ung 16,265 lng makuha ko ung gpa na 4k non refundable at covered pa rin ako insurance for 1 yr ok na rin mskuha ko lng pera ko. Buti pmyag mngr maayos nman kausap tapos 30-45 working days ko mkukuha check dun din sa branch ng sm mla. Tumawag nlng daw ako for ff sa main office. Sana marefund ko na rin agad

    1. same tayo. last dec. 14 naman sa akin. sa 19 try namin bumalik doon sa office nila sa sm city baguio. dadalin ko yung letter of cancellation. 26k naman nakuha sa akin. i know at some point may mali din ako. pero kasi ung pressure na binigay nila sa akin, para lang makaalis ako sumige na ako. but when i asked the agent paano iaaprove ng bank, sagot nya di ko po alam basta iswipe na lang natin. urgh! naiinis din ako sa sarili ko. sana makuha pa natin mga pera natin. san ka naman basta basta pupulot ng ganyang halaga ng pera. akala ko ba they support life. so sana patunayan nila yun.

  83. Mga 8,013.91 sa kin nakuha sa ATM ko. Ang hindi ko maintindihan sa dinami dmi ng naluko bakit parang di ako makatangi. At sunud-sunuran sa kanila. Is there some black magic involved? Dahil maraming hindi nakatangi like me. Sa mga naluko rin gawa tayo ng paraan gaya ng pagpunta sa PAO. Upang matulungan nila tayo sa ating karanasan. Paki lagay ang name nyo sa Facebook at doon magpatawag tayo ng meeting upang maipaglaban ang ating karapatan. Or if somebody will represent sa media pagpatawag tayo pakiusap magparamdam kayo sa kahit anong paraan. Ipagdasal nyo na sna may tutulong sa ating broadcaster upang maisiwalat ang nangyaring ito.   85. tingin hindi naman ito panloloko dahil lahat po ng proseso ng ginawa sa atin ay pare parehas,, siguro po ay nainis lng kayo sa medyo makulit nilang mga agents. nasa mall ang lugar kung saan madali puntahan ng sinuman kung scam yan hindi sila pepwesto sa mga mall at any public places, naka paskil din po sa kanilang offices ang kanilang business permit to operate in the area.

  90. Ako din ngapakatanga at nakinig sa kasinungalingan nila about the saving pero life insurance pala.. Wala naman akong alam sa mga ganitong bagay and it was my very first time. Ng try ako ipacancel ung policy ko after 3 days sabi ng manager sakin wait daw ako ng 30-45 days pero sa 8,250.60 na nakuha nila sakin 4,250.60 lang daw makukuha ko kc non-refundable daw ung sa GPA tapos kinuha nila ung policy at mga resibo papadala pa daw nila sa main office! Ang sarap nilang ipa tulfo the way they get their clients its just so wrong. Ngsisimul sila sa panloloko malamang sa malamang panloloko na lahat yan... Kainis talaga sila!!! Ang Diyos ba ang bahala sa kanilang lahat na nanloloko just to get clients!!! Grrrr... Nakakagigil talaga!!!

  92. Ganyan pala talaga sila mag recruit, nakaka turn off, mukhang di mga professional. May way ba talga para ma-cancel? Lalo lang akong nawalan ng interest sa kanila kahit pa naniniwala naman akong di sila scam. Eto pa yung linya nung manager sa kin before iswipe ang CC ko, " ikaw nag fill out nyan ha?" Ako talaga ng fill out, pero nilinaw ko sa agent na di ko kayang magbayad ng 20K plus sa isang statement cycle. Ang kaya ko lang is yung monthly na 1600+, tapos ayun pagcheck ko sa CC ko! na charged in full na yung 20k. Binigyan pa nila ako ng problem sa pagbabayad ng late fees para sa mga susundin na buwan dahil wala naman akong pambayad sa ganun kalaking halaga. To think na tinuturuan daw nila ng mag save for the future ang mga tao, tapos ganun mangyayari, ibabaon ka pala sa utang. Feb 26 lang to nangyari, SM din. Help naman po ng tip para ma cancel. Wala na akong tiwala sa kanila.

  93. Hi po. Na biktima din po ako ng scam today sa sm manila. They also ask me if i have credit card and what atm am i using. Edi sinabi ko ... then when i get upstair may one gift daw and briefing ng cocolife to be knowned daw. then kindly i said okay. Then theres this agent na kinausap na ko sa loob. And yon nga kung papayagan daw ako ng bank ko . Buti i choose only 2000 annual. Then nung tinanong nila ako na patingin daw ulit ng credit card i handed it to them then swipe sabay sabi titignan natin kung papayagan ka ng bank mo.. pwede ko pa po bang ma void yon tomorrow? Magpapasama po ako sa mom ko. And gumawa na din po ako cancellation letter. Dadaan pa po ba ako sa branch nila. Or will i just call their head office. ? please help po. Will it automatically be credited sa card ko every year? Help po talaga.

  94. grabe kina usap ko kanina ung manager i was about to file/give them the cancellation letter...grabe ng kukunsensya kc daw gusto lng nmna daw ng agent nila na matulungan ako kc daw pag na file ko ung eh mag kakaroon daw ng ivestigation with their agent, kc tlga nmang ng pre-pressure sila eh totoo lng, na pressure ako kya ako napa pirma,
    pero dko din sya na file kasi daw wala daw ung kausap ko dun yesterday..

    Naswipe yung cc ko pero hindi ko naibigay yung sss and tin number ko..
    Is it possible na hindi na mag push thru yug transaction? Tumawag na ko sa bank ko regarding dun and hindi pa naman daw naicharge sa account ko ng cocolife.
    Or need ko na tumawag sa customer service since wala pa naman yung policy sakin kasi last sat ako nabiktima nito.

  96. Can we file a complaint sa company na to? Ganun din nangyari saken and I want it to be cancelled na pero ang dami pa nilang sinasabing proseso and after 10 yrs ko pa daw makukuha yung amount na binayad ko sabi ng customer service nila. Isumbong na naten to sa awtoridad bago pa lalong lumala.

And they told me na un Php15k+ un lalabas sa next billing statement ko sa card but I need to call the bank within 3 days to advise them how will I settle the charges, whether straight or installment. Ayun.

    I was hoping na ok naman un plan nila kasi I really wanted to save. And besides, it's a reputable company naman. May I know what your rants are, para malaman ko baka may namimiss ako. Kasi un tingin ko okay naman sila.

    1. try to call the main office to clear things... mas maeexplain nila ang questions s mind nyo...kasi i'm also worried when i signed, kasi pinaghihirapan natin yung pera. the policy was forwarded to main office after 2 days and i got the policy no. na, just waiting for the hard copy... if you can't continue because of illness then you need to present proof that you are ill... but if once you've decided not to continue your quarterly dues...then it is not refundable...

  106. Nangyari din to saken last Feb 13, 2014 sa SM Manila. My credit card was charged 4k. And then ayun nagemail ako sa customerservice nila ng Feb18 to report what happened and to cancel the transaction and to get my money. And finally, nung nagfollow up ako kanina pwede ko na daw iclaim yung check ng pera ko sa SM Manila.

Kinabukasan nagpunta ko agad para macancel pero sabi lang gawa ako ng cancellation letter then papadala nila sa head office nila. pero di daw agad yun mababalik kasi subject for approval pa. And pwede rin ireject since nonrefundable daw yun. I suggest magemail ka sa customer service nila ng incident report and pacancel mo and parefund money mo.

  111. I read from another blog, it's better if ibigay ang cancellation letter sa Main office ng Cocolife sa Ayala. Wala naman sana masama kumuha ng insurance policy, if everything that the agent said is true. Or if there are no hidden charges. Magilat ka na lang, pagdating ng bill mo, ung terms of payment ndi pareho.

  112. A refund takes 30 business days, you cannot get your entire money back, around 10-15% goes to the company for their GPA. Refund requests has to be done within 15 days of signing up.
