Philippines my Philippines...

I love my motherland, This is the place I grew up in, and this is the place I would like to die... but what is happening to my beloved country? We must leave the Philippines in order to survive, Filipinos taking odd jobs just to feed their families. During the 60's and early 70's the Philippines is a progressive country, other Asian countries dreamed of coming to the Philippines to find a better life here.

Maybe it's time to have a change, we are living in this kind of condition for decades now. What I think Filipino's lack, is the true love of our country. We have this hard wired inside of us the "Kanya -Kanya'' System'' meaning as long as I'm ok, I don't care for the others well- being. When can we expect a change? maybe not in our lifetime?, is there still hope?.
